Bike , E-Bike and E-Scooter Brake services Prices and Compositions
Brake adjustments should be a same day service in all Repair and Run Workshops.
We will do our best to have you back on the road in less than 20 minutes.
We are able to service most brands and stock 90% of the market sizes for brake pads.
As a more time consuming service, brake Bleeds are not always done the same day.

Brakes may not be working for several reasons:
-Brake cables extend overtime so the cable may need to be tighten again.
-Brake pads become worn out so they might need to be replaced or adjusted.
Rim or rotors are dirty/contaminated and need to be cleaned.

How to Use my Brakes?
-Use both brakes at the same time, some people will over use the rear brake when the front one is actually very powerful. Using both at the same time evens the wear on both and gives you a smoother stop.
-Be attentive if the bike doesn't run as smoothly as it should, the brake pads might be misaligned. In this case adjust your brakes asap to avoid destroying your brake pads and possibly your tires.
Do E-Bikes and E-Scooter needs specific brake pads?
E-Bikes have a higher average speed and undergo more aggressive driving. For this reason we carry E-Bike specific brake pads, they usually cost a couple dollars more than the classic brake pads.
Will you guarantee a Brake Adjustment?
Brake adjustments are unfortunately not an exact science.
As much attention as we give to your brakes, wheels can sometimes bend back (we do a slight wheel truing to get a better brake alignment) and cables can extend really fast in the first few days.
For this reason any brake adjustment issues that occur on the same day or on the next day of use of your bike will be covered for parts + labour on top of our already existing 6 month warranty.
